Brewers are sitting Keon Broxton (nose) on Friday
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Keon Broxton (nose) is not in the starting lineup versus the Chicago Cubs on Friday.
Broxton was hit the face with a pitch on Thursday and suffered a broken nose. Despite the injury, the outfielder will avoid the disabled list but will likely take a couple of days off, starting on Friday. Hernan Perez will man center field in his place versus the Cubs.
Broxton is still looking for his first hit of the 2017 season as he has gone 0-for-6 with two walks, three strikeouts, and one stolen base in nine plate appearances so far.
