San Francisco Giants outfielder Denard Span (hip) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Span also missed Tuesday's contest due to soreness in his left hip. Gorkys Hernandez is leading off for San Francisco and starting in center field. Consider Span day-to-day moving forward. The 33-year-old veteran required surgery in 2015 for the left side of his hip.
