Nationals' Anthony Rendon (calf) ready to make season debut Wednesday
Washington Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon (calf) is back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Rendon missed Opening Day due to a calf injury he sustained late in spring training. He's batting sixth and manning third versus right-hander Dan Straily and the Marlins. Stephen Drew went 0-for-4 with a strikeout while filling in for Rendon on Monday.
numberFire's algorithms expect Rendon to hit 17 home runs and 74 RBI's with a .272 batting average across 616 plate appearances this season.
