Rain forces Cubs and Cardinals to postpone Wednesday
Wednesday's game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium has been postponed due to rain.
This negates the previous updates on Javier Baez (rest) and Stephen Piscotty (head). The game will be made up Thursday afternoon at 1:45 ET. John Lackey and Lance Lynn were scheduled to start Wednesday, so look for the same matchup tomorrow.
numberFire's models project Lackey to record a 3.73 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 21.1 strikeout percentage across 183 1/3 innings this season.
