Baltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Mark Trumbo slugged a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning Monday as the Orioles earned a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Opening Day.
Trumbo had a RBI double in the first inning but capped the game with a monster shot off of Jays reliever Jason Grilli to deliver the victory. Trumbo finished 2-for-5 with one run scored and two RBI's.
Our models have projected Trumbo for 32 home runs, 91 RBI's, 77 runs scored, and a .250 batting average in 586 plate appearances this season.
