Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra exited Monday's Opening Day start against the Colorado Rockies after just three innings with a right calf strain.
Guerra limped off the field after attempting a bunt in his first at-bat. He had allowed just one hit -- a two-run homer by Mark Reynolds -- through three innings. The injury could be severe enough to require a trip to the disabled list for Guerra. Tommy Milone relieved him on Monday and would be a good candidate to make a spot start if needed.
Our models projected for 11 wins with a 3.82 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP in 169 2/3 innings before the injury.
