Tyler Saladino leading off for White Sox on Opening Day
Chicago White Sox infielder Tyler Saladino will bat leadoff on Opening Day against the Detroit Tigers.
Saladino has only batted from the top of the order for eight of his 573 career plate appearances, but he performed well this spring, slashing .365/.431/.692 with four home runs and 10 RBI's across 58 plate appearances. The 27-year-old infielder could wind up returning decent value in deeper mixed leagues due to both his speed and ability to play multiple positions.
numberFire's models project Saladino to steal 12 bases and drive in 27 runs this season while batting .248 across 296 plate appearances.
