Chris Archer goes seven strong in Rays' Opening Day win
Tamp Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer limited the New York Yankees to two runs over seven innings as the Rays beat the Yankees 7-3 on Opening Day.
Archer outdueled Masahiro Tanaka limiting the Yankees to just one extra base hit while walking one and striking out five to earn the first win of the MLB season. He threw 108 pitches and looked unfazed as he was hit bay a hard comebacker in the early innings. Archer will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in his next start.
