Matt Garza (groin) starting season on Brewers' 10-day disabled list
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Matt Garza has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right groin.
Garza struggled to a 8.59 ERA in six Cactus League starts this spring. He hasn't been a fantasy factor for some time now, but manager Craig Counsell is hopeful the 33-year-old right-hander will resume throwing before the end of April. The Brewers' rotation to open the year will consist of Junior Guerra, Zach Davies, Wily Peralta, Chase Anderson and Jimmy Nelson.
numberFire's models believe Garza will post a 4.71 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 14.5 strikeout percentage across 149 innings this season while earning an 8-10 record.
