Padres will use Trevor Cahill for third game
San Diego Padres pitcher Trevor Cahill will start the team's third regular-season game.
Cahill twirled a 3.26 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with a 25.6 strikeout percentage across 19 1/3 Cactus League innings this spring. He's put himself firmly on the streaming radar and could be worth a look in deeper mixed formats.
Prior to this announcement, numberFire's algorithms project the 29-year-old right-hander to record a 4.32 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 18.9 strikeout percentage across 75 innings (4-5 record) this upcoming season.
