Nationals give closing job to Blake Treinen
Washington Nationals reliever Blake Treinen has been named the team's closer.
Koda Glover was believed to be the favorite, but Treinen's stellar spring led to him seizing the gig. The 28-year-old right-hander allowed just one hit in 4 2/3 innings while punching out eight across five appearances. He should be owned in all fantasy formats.
numberFire's algorithms say Treinen will record 20 saves across 55 innings in 2017 while posting a 3.27 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 22.4 strikeout percentage.
