Lonnie Chisenhall (shoulder) starting season on Indians' disabled list
Cleveland Indians outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall (shoulder) will begin the season on the 10-day disabled list.
Chisenhall needs some extra time to recover after he injured his right shoulder last Friday while colliding with the outfield wall. The Indians believe he could be ready by their first home set against the Chicago White Sox on April 11. Abraham Almonte will fill in while Chisenhall is out.
numberFire's metrics project Chisenhall to hit .265 across 452 plate appearances in 2017 while tallying 54 runs and driving in another 51 scores.
