Rays improve outfield by acquiring Peter Bourjos from White Sox
The Tampa Bay Rays acquired Chicago White Sox outfielder Peter Bourjos for cash considerations or a player to be named later.
Bourjos provides the Rays with the right-handed outfield bat they needed. He'll provide valuable outfield depth for Tampa Bay with the ability to play all three positions.
numberFire's algorithms currently project Bourjos to hit .236 with 5 home runs, 17 RBI's and 5 stolen bases across 207 plate appearances in 2017.
