Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman has been named the team's Opening Day starter.
Gausman has recorded a 1.80 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 33.3 strikeout percentage over 10 innings (three starts) of Grapefruit League action this spring. The 26-year-old right-hander carries plenty of fantasy appeal into the 2017 season.
numberFire's models believe Gausman will go 11-11 this upcoming season while recording a 3.94 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 22.6 strikeout percentage across 176 innings.
