Rockies' Jon Gray departs outing with foot soreness
Colorado Rockies pitcher Jon Gray exited his start against the San Francisco Giants on Friday with left foot soreness.
The Rockies are saying the injury is very mild, so it looks like he was pulled for precautionary reasons. It bears watching if Gray is allowed to make another spring start, though.
NumberFire's algorithms project Gray for a 10-10 record with a 4.14 ERA, 1.37 WHIP with 180 strikeouts in 169 2/3 innings pitched in 2017.
