White Sox's Carlos Rodon (biceps tightness) will receive MRI
Chicago White Sox pitcher Carlos Rodon was scratched from Friday's start and will undergo an MRI due to tightness in his left biceps.
Rodon isn't expected to have any structural damage, but he's likely going to miss the first couple starts of the season. The 24-year-old left-hander is looking to increase his workload in 2017 after working 165 major league innings last season.
For now, numberFire's models believe Rodon will go 9-11 this season while recording a 3.79 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with a 23.8 strikeout percentage.
