Chicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria acknowledged Friday that it's possible starting pitcher Carlos Rodon won't be ready for the first week of the season.
Chicago has Rodon scheduled for his first bullpen session of the spring on Friday and they have said before they are bringing him along slowly. He could miss his first start of the season, or just be saved until the team needs a fifth starter.
