Josh Hamilton is not in the Rangers lineup on Monday. The right-handed hitting Ryan Strausborger will start in left field and bat ninth against the Mariners.
What It Means:
Yesterday was a scheduled day off for Hamilton, but there's word on why he is out of the lineup today. Mariners starter Taijuan Walker is allowing a .330 wOBA and producing a 4.30 xFIP versus righties, which are not good numbers. Strausborger has a .349 wOBA in 21 plate appearances this season, however we're projecting his wOBA to be just .225 for the rest of the year.
