Pence is dealing with an intercostal injury initially sustained prior to the start of spring camp. He took part in batting practice on Wednesday, though, and there doesn't seem to be any reason for long-term concern. Pence's 2016 season saw him rack up just 442 plate appearances in 106 games. He was great for fantasy when healthy, though, with a .289/.357/.451 triple slash line and 13 home runs in that span.
