Boston Red Sox closer Koji Uehara will miss the rest of the season due to a fracture in his right wrist.
Uehara sustained the injury when he was hit by a comebacker Friday night.
Uehara recorded 25 saves while posting a 2.41 FIP and striking out 10.49 hitters per nine innings. Junichi Tazawa will likely assume closer duties.
