Mariners still flirting with idea of Reds' Zack Cozart
Cincinnati Reds shortstop Zack Cozart is someone that the Seattle Mariners "remain interested" in trading for, according to Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune.
Seattle tried snagging Cozart at the August 1 trade deadline and it sounds like they haven't given up on the idea. The 31-year-old shortstop is among the Reds' available pieces, general manager Dick Williams informed the Cincinnati Enquirer earlier this month.
Cozart slashed .252/.308/.425 with 16 home runs and 50 RBI's in 508 plate appearances this past season. He finished with a .172 ISO and .312 wOBA.
