Indians' Trevor Bauer (finger) throwing to hitters Monday
Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer (finger) will face "a couple hitters" during batting practice, manager Terry Francona said.
What It Means:
Bauer was pulled from his Game 3 start in the American League Championship Series after just two-thirds of an inning due to stitches in his right pinky coming undone. He's expected to be fine for Wednesday's Game 2 of the World Series. If Francona and the Indians hold him out until Game 3, Josh Tomlin would get bumped up for Wednesday.
