Jake Arrieta will take mound for Cubs in Game 2 of World Series
Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta will start Game 2 of the World Series in Cleveland on Wednesday versus the Indians.
Arrieta will be joined by Jon Lester on the Cubs' mound in Cleveland for Games 1 and 2 of the World Series. The 30-year-old right-hander gave up four earned runs over five innings in a Game 3 National League Championship Series loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in his last outing. Kyle Hendricks and John Lackey will start in Games 3 and 4 at Wrigley Field back in Chicago.
Arrieta has recorded a 4.91 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 21.7 strikeout percentage across 11 innings this postseason (two starts). The Cubs are numberFire's World Series favorites at 63.4 percent odds.
