Jason Heyward not in Cubs' Game 3 lineup
Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward is not in the starting lineup for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
With the Dodgers sending southpaw Rich Hill to the mound, Hayward will take a seat. Jorge Soler is starting in right field while Javier Baez slides into the fifth spot in the Cubs' order.
Heyward managed just a .207/.300/.286 slash in 161 plate appearances versus left-handers this season. The Cubs have a 39.4 percent chance of winning the World Series, based on numberFire's metrics.
