Adrian Gonzalez helps Dodgers even things up in Game 2 of NLCS
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez mashed a solo home run to lead off the second inning on Sunday, powering the Dodgers to a 1-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.
That proved to be all the Dodgers needed, as Clayton Kershaw and Kenley Jansen combined for a shutout performance on the mound. Gonzalez and the gang head back to Los Angeles for Tuesday's Game 3 with the series all tied up at one game apiece.
Gonzalez now owns a .259/.310/.481 in 29 plate appearances this postseason, adding a pair of home runs and five RBI's.
