Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenta Maeda was named the official starter for Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Chicago Cubs.
Maeda was next in line with Clayton Kershaw and Rich Hill both unavailable for the series opener. The 28-year-old right-hander was smacked for four runs over just three innings in an NLDS Game 3 loss to the Washington Nationals.
Of the four remaining teams, our models give the Dodgers the lowest odds of winning the World Series, at 16.6 percent.
