Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Wednesday.
What It Means:
It was a minor procedure that isn't expected to have any impact on the 33-year-old's offseason schedule.
Pedroia is coming off of a great year from the dish, and he slashed .318/.376/.449 through 698 regular season plate appearances. His .358 wOBA was his best since 2011.
