Daniel Murphy's four RBI's not enough as Washington drops Game 4

Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy drove in four RBI's on 2-for-3 hitting on Tuesday as the Nationals fell 6-5 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLDS.

What It Means:

Murphy drove in the first run of the game in the first inning, tied the game in the third, and again tied it in the seventh inning, but his huge effort wasn't enough, and the Nationals will host Game 5 on Thursday.

The 31-year-old Murphy posted career-highs across the board in the regular season, with a .347/.390/.595 slash, .408 wOBA and .249 ISO through 582 plate appearances. His 25 home runs and 104 RBI's were also the most he's put up in a season.
