Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (forearm) said he is "good to go."
Hendricks endured a line drive to his forearm during his Game 2 start of the National League Divisional Series, but it would up being no more than a minor bruise. There's a possibility that he's available in emergency long relief if the Giants force a potential Game 5, but Hendricks should be ready for the National League Championship Series either way.
Hendricks had a Cy Young-level season, posting a 2.13 ERA and 3.59 xFIP over 190 innings this season. His 3.70 SIERA is actually worse than what he posted last year in that department, but it was still good enough to rank him among the top 20 starting pitchers in the league.
