Blue Jays say Devon Travis (knee) has made great progress
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (knee) is feeling "much, much better," said manager John Gibbons.
Travis has been out of action since Game 1 of the American League Divisional Series with a sore right knee, but Toronto general manager Ross Atkins said Monday that the club is hopeful their second baseman will be ready for the first game of the ALCS this Friday.
numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings currently give the Blue Jays the third-highest odds of winning the World Series at 18.2 percent. Travis managed one hit in 10 plate appearances in the two games he played this postseason.
