New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Tuesday.
The procedure is of the "routine cleanup" variety and the 36-year-old Sabathia should be ready to roll for spring training.
Sabathia turned in a decent 3.91 ERA on the year, but his 4.36 SIERA is his worst in over a decade. He finished with a 19.8 percent strikeout rate and 8.5 percent walk rate through 30 starts (179 2/3 innings) this season.
