Joe Panik keeps Giants alive with 13th inning walk-off double
San Francisco Giants second baseman Joe Panik walloped a walk-off, RBI double in the bottom of the 13th inning Monday in the Giants' National League Divisional Series Game 3 victory.
Panik reached base a game-high five times in the Monday night marathon, adding a couple singles with a pair of walks to the late-inning heroics. Brandon Crawford reached on a double of his own, and then Panik brought him home to force a Game 4 on Tuesday.
Through three games this series, Panik has reached base seven times (four hits, three walks) in 13 plate appearances. The Giants are numberFire's biggest underdogs to win the 2016 World Series, as our MLB Team Power Rankings give them just a 3.4 percent chance of finishing as champs this season.
