Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth went 3-for-4 with a one-run rocket and RBI double in Monday's National League Divisional Series Game 3 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Add a walk to his line as well. Werth's third inning RBI double evened things up, and then his solo shot in the ninth gave the Nationals some insurance in their 8-3 victory on Monday night. Werth and crew will look to send the Dodgers packing in Game 4 on Tuesday.
The pair of RBI's were Werth's first of the NLDS, and he's found his own way home four times now in the series. The 37-year-old outfielder is hitting well this postseason, slashing .417/.500/.833 in 14 plate appearances.
