Devon Travis (knee) remains possibility for Blue Jays in ALCS
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (knee) could play in the American League Championship Series, general manager Ross Atkins said Monday, and the club is optimistic that will be the case.
A sore right knee has kept Travis out of action since Game 1 of the American League Divisional Series, but he's been progressing steadily. We tentatively expect Travis to be available for Game 1 of the ALCS on Friday.
numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings currently give the Blue Jays the third-highest odds of winning the World Series at 17.6 percent. Travis has managed one hit in 10 plate appearances in the two games he played this postseason.
