New York Mets infielder Wilmer Flores will undergo surgery on his right wrist on Friday.
Flores injured his wrist in a home plate collision on September 10 and hasn't played since. He won't be available for the Mets this postseason.
Flores enjoyed a career-year, recording new highs with a .267/.319/.469 slash, .336 wOBA and .202 ISO across 335 plate appearances for the season. He added 16 home runs, matching his career-high set last year, along with 49 RBI's.
