Marlins, Martin Prado come to terms on three-year extension
Miami Marlins infielder Martin Prado has agreed to a three-year, $40 million extension with the club.
What It Means:
This makes official what was reported on last week. Prado is now signed through 2019 and will avoid free agency this winter.
The 32-year-old batted .305/.359/.417 with eighth dingers and 75 RBI's over 153 games this season.
