Jhoulys Chacin first seven scoreless in Angels' blowout win
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jhoulys Chacin dealt seven shutout innings as the Angels rolled to an 8-1 win over the Houston Astros on Sunday.
It was a good way to end the season for Chacin, turning in his longest scoreless start of the season while also striking out seven in the outing.
It wasn't a great year for Chacin, with a 4.81 ERA and 4.38 SIERA that are both worse than his career averages. He did manage an 18.8 percent strikeout rate that beat his career average with an 8.7 percent walk rate that was the second-best of his career.
