Daniel Murphy still absent from Nationals' lineup
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (glute) remained out of the Nationals' lineup Sunday against the Miami Marlins.
Murphy has now missed three weeks and will be going into the NLDS without starting a game since September 17th. His time out has also cost him the batting title to D.J. LeMahieu as well. Wilmer Difo is starting at second base and batting sixth Sunday.
The 31-year-old Murphy is enjoying career-highs across the board with a .347/.391/.596 slash, .409 wOBA and .249 ISO in 581 plate appearances. His 25 home runs and 104 RBI's are also the most he's put up in a season.
