Matt Holliday activated from Cardinals' disabled list
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.
This is for the St. Louis faithful more than anything, as Holliday will be a free agent after the season and isn't expected to play much this weekend. General manager John Mozeliak revealed on Friday that the Cardinals odds of picking up Holliday's option for 2017 are "very low."
Holliday currently owns a .242/.318/.450 slash, .330 wOBA and .208 ISO across 424 plate appearances. He's posted a career-low .768 OPS with 19 homers and 60 RBI's in 107 games this season.
