Tyler Wilson allowed just two runs in 7.2 innings against the Athletics Monday night, allowing six hits and two walks while striking out three.
It was Wilson's second start and sixth appearance of the season Monday. The 25 year-old former 10th round draft pick has been impressive so far in the majors - he's 2-1 with a 2.19 ERA and a 3.25 FIP. His 1.18 WHIP is also impressive for a rookie. He's been solid, but not great, in the minors, so we'll see how he progresses as the season moves forward.
