Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jeremy Hellickson was forced to make an early exit in the fourth inning of Thursday's start against the Atlanta Braves.
The injury was reported to be a sprained right knee -- a minor injury that he should have no trouble recovering from as he heads into free agency this off-season.
While Hellickson's 3.71 ERA hints at some improvement this year, his 4.15 SIERA is just above last year's 4.14, and is his worst mark since 2012. He did post a 20.0 percent strikeout rate and 5.8 percent walk rate that were both his best marks since his 2010 rookie season.
