Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (shoulder) is expected to play against the Houston Astros on Friday, according to Angels' manager Mike Scioscia.
Trout made an early exit on Wednesday when he took a pitch to the shoulder, but he only suffered bruising from the incident, so it shouldn't hold him out long.
Trout's .420 wOBA is the best in the majors among qualifying hitters this season, and he is slashing .318/.441/.556 through 669 plate appearances.
