Giants' Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) only sidelined two-to-three days
San Francisco Giants infielder Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) is only expected to miss two-to-three days.
Nunez received an MRI on Monday for an injury that occurred to his right hamstring on a slide against the San Diego Padres in Sunday's series finale. The results apparently revealed nothing serious, but Conor Gillaspie will be starting at third base for the Giants on Tuesday night when they take on the Colorado Rockies.
Nunez is slashing .288/.325/.432 through 595 plate appearances for both the Giants and Minnesota Twins, with a .323 wOBA and .145 ISO. He's added 16 home runs and 67 RBI's with 40 stolen bases.
