Tigers activate Nick Castellanos from disabled list
Detroit Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos was activated from the 15-day disabled list.
Castellanos missed just over seven weeks of action with a fractured left hand. He will be available for the Tigers off the bench on Tuesday night and should return to Wednesday's starting lineup.
Castellanos is having a career year from the dish, slashing .286/.331/.500 with a career-high .350 wOBA and .214 ISO through 432 plate appearances. He recorded a .831 OPS with 18 home runs prior to the injury.
