Devon Travis day-to-day for Blue Jays with shoulder issue
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (shoulder) is considered day-to-day.
The Blue Jays and New York Yankees were involved in a benches-clearing brawl on Monday night, resulting in a left shoulder injury that Travis then aggravated while actually playing baseball later in the game. A potential return date doesn't exist at this time. Darwin Barney is replacing Travis at second base for Toronto on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Travis' efficiency this season hasn't quite matched his 2015 rookie numbers, but he has been decent from the plate, slashing .299/.331/.447 with a .334 wOBA through 415 plate appearances.
