Cruz had an MRI taken Monday for his sore left wrist, but it appears nothing of concern came up. He is starting at designated hitter and cleaning up for Seattle against Houston right-hander Mike Fiers.
Cruz is having yet another strong year from the dish, slashing .286/.359/.554 with a .382 wOBA and .267 ISO across 644 plate appearances. His 41 home runs and 101 RBI's are both the second-best marks of his career, while his 92 runs scored are a career-high.
