Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Jean Segura clubbed a pair of home runs and drove in three in Monday's blowout win over the Washington Nationals.
The pair of taters came in the fourth and eighth innings, a solo shot and then a two-run package, respectively. Segura has been one of the few bright spots in what has been a disappointing season for the Diamondbacks. His 19 home runs and 63 RBI's are both career-bests, and four more hits would give Segura a 200-hit campaign for the first time in his young career.
It has certainly been the best year of Segura's career from the dish, as he is slashing .317/.364/.493 through 672 plate appearances, with a .367 wOBA and .176 ISO that both represent career-highs.
