Starling Marte (back) still out for Pirates against Cubs
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte (back) remains out of the lineup Monday versus the Chicago Cubs.
Nagging back spasms have kept Marte out since Thursday and owners should have a backup plan ready for the final week of the season. Adam Frazier is starting in left field and batting seventh against Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks.
Marte is having a fairly strong year from the dish, slashing .311/.362/.457 through 528 plate appearances. His .351 wOBA is the second-best mark of his career.
