Marlins activate Adam Conley (finger) off disabled list

Miami Marlins left-handed pitcher Adam Conley was activated from the 15-day disabled list.

What It Means:

Conley was originally scheduled to return to the Marlins' rotation on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves, but the game was cancelled following the devastating death of Miami ace Jose Fernandez. Conley, a southpaw, will take to the mound Monday against the New York Mets. He's been sidelined for six weeks due to tendinitis in his left middle finger.

Conley has a 3.94 ERA and a 21.3 percent strikeout rate (league-average is 21.1 percent) over 130 1/3 innings in his second year in the majors.
