Seattle Mariners reliever Edwin Diaz recorded a save on Sunday as the Mariners beat the Minnesota Twins 4-3.
That makes 17 saves on the year for the 22-year-old, who dealt a threw a perfect ninth inning on Sunday, preserving the Mariners' one-run lead.
Diaz owns a 1.83 and 41.5 percent strikeout rate through 46 games (47 1/3 innings) in what has been a very promising rookie year.
